Summary:
Provides specialized clinical activities relating to designated clinical programs in order to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Performs various types of medication utilization activities within a defined area, including but not limited to anticoagulation, pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, order verification, and IV to PO-conversions. Participates in committees and represents the department of pharmacy throughout the hospital or ambulatory settings within the area of focus.

*Three(3) or more years of experience with a primary focus on Emergency Medicine with Specialty Board Certification or residency training preferred.
Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the care needed for the specific patient population with a primary focus on Emergency Medicine. *
