Outpatient Pharmacy (Controlled Substance)
The incumbent is responsible for the technical and ancillary support to the professional staff to fill controlled substance outpatient prescriptions and/or inpatient orders in the Inpatient/Outpatient Pharmacy. The Controlled Substance pharmacy technician ensures controlled substances are purchased, dispensed, accounted for, and always secured appropriately. Assignments involve the preparation, review, dispensing, and control of medications to patients. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Citizenship: Citizen of the United States. Education or Experience: Applicants must have a high school diploma ore equivalent; or at least 3 months of experience.
