Pharmacy Technician, Rotating
Job DescriptionPrepares and dispenses medication orders for an assigned patient population (inpatient and outpatient). Fills patient medications, based on physician orders and patient profiles approved by the pharmacist, in accordance with departmental procedures. Delivers and picks up pharmacy documents and medications from various departments and patient care locations. Understands role in delivering medications and placing in correct location.Able to prioritize deliveries based on due times and patient need.Able to use tracking technology with all delivery modes.Packages and/or selects products to labels into unit doses for inspection and approval by the pharmacist.Fills controlled substances
