Pharmacy Technician - Training Program
The incumbent is responsible for performing routine pharmacy functions for inpatients or outpatients requiring medications such as IV solutions or oral medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. The technician also applies standards relating to all aspects of distribution and control of scheduled and non-scheduled drugs. The primary function of a technician is to assure the safe and appropriate dispensing of medications under guidance of a pharmacist.
