Overview

St. Luke's in Boise is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in our new, state-of-the-art Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine facility!

In our efforts to improve health in the communities we serve, St. Luke's is excited to offer innovative orthopedic patient care at our state-of-the-art Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine facility (COSM). COSM will bring together numerous complementary healthcare services, such as orthopedic walk-in care, a surgery center, physical therapy, pharmacy services, and many more. Patients will experience accessible and affordable orthopedic care unlike any other in the Treasure Valley. Our 230,000-square-foot facility will open to patients in February 2024.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the pharmacy team.
• Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to pharmacy team. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.
• Assists in the development and administration of departmental policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement quality assurance standards, performance improvement activities.
• May function as a pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy, providing clinical and dispensing functions in accordance with needs of the department.
• Serve as clinical mentor and provide clinical pharmacy leadership to pharmacists in their daily patient care functions.
• Assure compliance of pharmacy services with policy and regulatory agencies.
• Develop, monitor and work effectively within established budget.
• Lead within organizational structures to improve medication use outcomes through clinical pharmacy services, staffing deployment and technology.
• Work closely with hospital leaders to optimize pharmacy services for patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary work teams.
• Coordinate implementation of strategic goals, projects, and programs affecting the department.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Valid Pharmacist License in state of practice
• Experience: 3 years's experience (MBA or Pharmacy Residency in lieu of 2 years exp.)
• Licenses/Certifications: None
