The pharmacy technician supervisor is the technician leader for Enterprise Pharmacy. The technician supervisor will have leadership responsibilities for all pharmacy technicians, pharmacy support associates and technician leads within the facility and be responsible for managing staff and overseeing pharmacy operations.
Provide patient/provider/customer care
Use the pharmacy computer system to facilitate patient care
Participate in patient/provider/customer care activities that do not require the expertise of a pharmacist
Prepare and label medications appropriately for distribution.
Retrieve, review, and perform inventory management for medications and supplies in the pharmacy.
Maintain pharmacy records.
Perform housekeeping duties in the pharmacy in compliance with hospital and accreditation policies.
Participate in the onboarding and training of new pharmacy personnel.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities of a Pharmacy Technician Lead:
Oversee all operational activities within the pharmacy such as, but not limited to: pharmacy technician and support associate screening, hiring and onboarding, technician trainee education, technician scheduling and evaluation, development plans and disciplinary actions, workflow assessment and change implementation.
Oversee all quality improvement and other projects as directed by the pharmacy administrative team.
Actively participate in multidisciplinary teams as directed by the pharmacy administrative team

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required), Bachelor's Degree- (Preferred)
Minimum of 1 year-Managerial/Supervisory (Required), Minimum of 3 years-Related work experience (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s)
Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA)) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB or NHA))
