Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Part-time day pharmacy technician in the Pharmacy Department at Overlook Medical Center. Hours will be 7a-3p and every third weekend.
Essential Job Functions:
This posting is for a part time pharmacy technician to work minimum 5 shifts in a 2 week period and to work every third weekend primarily on the day. We are looking for day (0700-1500) shift and occasional evening (1500-2300) shift:
Medication preparation and delivery, use of pharmacy automation which includes the Medication Carousel, EPIC and the Omnicell.
The incumbent technician will also be responsible for the safe and accurate preparation of intravenous admixtures which may include chemotherapy in accordance with USP 797 and 800 guidelines.
The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Minimum of a HS Diploma Required
NJ BOP registration Required
PTCB certification Required or will obtain within 90 days of employment
Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills and internal/external communication skills.
Candidate must be able to work full-time 3p-11p.
