POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides purchasing services in accordance with policies and procedures established by the health-system in the practice of pharmaceutical care. Provides summary of buying and drug utilization history. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education /Licensure / Certifications
High School Diploma. BS/BA. None Required.
Minimum Experience 3-5 years Hospital Pharmacy purchasing experience.
Physical Requirements
1. Frequently required to lift 5-40 pounds.
2. Occasionally may lift greater that 40 pounds with assistance of staff member and/or approved lifting device. 3. Frequently required to operate standard office machines, computers and telephones.
4. Frequently required to walk, bend, push and pull.
5. Required to have adequate vision and hearing.
