Assists with planning, organizing and directing the overall operations of the Pharmacy Department in accordance with the established Policies and Procedures. Identifies, develops, and implements operations process improvements to departmental operations and the patients it serves. Works with the Pharmacy Buyer to ensure and enhance the purchase and inventory maintenance of pharmaceuticals and related substances and supply needs for the facility.
Minimum Education: Doctorate in Pharmacy required, Residency preferred.
Minimum Experience: 3 years hospital management experience required.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: South Carolina Pharmacy license and American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification required. Board certification in Specialty Area within one year of hire.
